With broadband connection, web pages load up with blazing speed. However, some web pages may take ages to load up when you are surfing on a dial-up connection or on a non-3G handphone. News websites such as CNN or BBC or Bernama or Utusan Malaysia would sometime take a long time to load because of the photos and other graphics on their website. If for some reason you want to access a website just to read the texts ONLY (and the photos are not important to you), you can use another unique function of Google to help you.
First, go to this website address: http://www.google.com/gwt/n (type the exact address). You will see a page with the image shown below. Secondly, write down the address of the website that you want to access. Check the “No images” button and then, press the “Go” button.
Google will display the requested page in plain TEXT with very few or no photographs or graphics. Great for saving time and money (for those surfing on a mobile phone on per data useage basis).
